| Laughter and Tears |
Enter the world with loud cries
Exploration starts with giggles and wails
Slowly emotions are shaped
Into masks for all occasions
A certain kind of laugh for flat jokes
A look of interest for life's mundane
Tears being carefully hidden
Only released when dams can't hold them back
Anger smouldering
Threatening to overwhelm when barriers are breached
Then He entered the life
Reshaping all the masks
Pieces by pieces
Masks fall apart
Drop by drop
Painted faces disintegrate
Rock by rock
Walls tumble down
Only revealing a very little girl
who has lost herself in the myraid of masksLabels: a queen thinks |
