| Knowledge is Responsibility |
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
okay that was my belated CNY greeting to everyone... now back to my title.
what do i mean by knowledge is responsibility? well, i got some input abt my knowledge-thirst nature from someone recently and once again i am reminded that i can so insensitive and selfish in my bid to know more and more... This often happens when I seek to know more about matters that do not concern me and do not benefit me in any way by me knowing more. This time though, I got a new perspective... or rather something realli got into my brain (i tend to need quite a few reminders before it realli gets into my head). I always am convinced that knowledge is never going to be a sin but... what I do with the knowledge... ah... that is something tricky and dangerous. If I choose to keep it within myself and do nothing to help in spite of knowing so much, it can and most probably will become gossip fodder one day. And that will become sins of slander, malice and folly...
However, if I am sure that knowing more is going to help me to be able to help someone better... and that I am definitely going to take action... knowledge is no longer a danger spot... it becomes something where I can be godly in. Thus that's why I say knowledge is responsibility... :)
